Nothing better than farm fresh eggs.
Meet Frank
Hi, I’m Frank. It has always been a dream of mine to have a farm. So when I asked my Mom & Dad for my 12th birthday for chickens, my parents weren’t shocked. My Dad designed and built the coop and in the Spring of 2021, we bought 12 baby chicks. I have 3 types of chickens; Easter Eggers, Golden Comets, and Plymouth Rock.
Every day they are fed organic feed and all the scraps from our plates throughout the day. In the afternoon, I collect the eggs. Depending on the time of year, I will collect anywhere from 6-12 eggs a day. The winter months are when egg production drops due to the cold weather.
About 3 days a week I give the hens a special treat which consists of oyster shells, bird seeds, and grains. These ingredients are important for their health and their production of eggs.
This Spring (2023) we plan to add more chickens to our flock. Stay tune to see how many and what different types of chickens we add to our family.
